How a review works

  1. 1. Upload the contract

    PDF or Word, up to 40 MB — scanned documents included, SubSync OCRs them. AS 4902, AS 4903, AS 2124, AS 4000, NEC and bespoke head-contract pass-throughs are all understood.

  2. 2. The AI reads every clause

    Each clause is benchmarked against typical Australian commercial positions for construction subcontracts, including the Security of Payment legislation in your project's state or territory.

  3. 3. Read the risk report

    Clauses are rated high, medium or low risk and explained in language a non-lawyer can act on: what the clause says, why it matters on site, and the position the industry would usually push back to. Most reviews land in 15–20 minutes; a long scanned head contract can take longer.

  4. 4. Take the departure schedule to the builder

    Turn the flags you adopt into a departure schedule — the clause-by-clause list of amendments you're asking for — and send it straight to the builder. When the revised contract comes back, upload it and SubSync reviews what actually changed.

Is the review legal advice?

What does each review cost?
